TRECENA 5:1 CAÑA (CANE)

The first day, CAÑA, is associated with "the cane of authority" and the "arrow of the warrior", but at the same time with the idea of something hollow; discouraged men, unfit, poor minded, greedy and inactive. Day 1, CAÑA, was dedicated to the God of the wind, QUETZALCOATL. The Trecena predicts an "unstable life". They called those born in this sign "whether they were noble, whether they were popular", MACEUALLI. They always lived unhappy, pure air was their life; all their things were carried by the wind, nothing was their descent and origin.
